"3.5/5 ⭐️ I think this is my favorite one of this series so far! This is a romance where the leads have a marriage of convenience that starts to become more when one gets injured and the other needs to care for him. I liked having a more emotional male lead, and I liked the female lead for the most part too. There was definitely some pining and self-loathing on both sides which I do love in a romance. I will say this book felt out of place with the male lead’s character in the other books. There were also still moments that didn’t work for me in this one - its message is sometimes a bit heavy-handed, the characters still frustrated me at times, and there was a side plot I was not invested in. However, I had a good time overall, and am curious where the series will go from here."
