"I loved this movie!!! This twisted dark comedy is just the type of movie that I relish. Ray Nicholson really gets to spread his wings in this role as Paul, a completely insane man who is obsessed with a pop star named Sophia, played by Samara Weaving. Paul is one of the most endearing murderous maniacs ever put to film. Every time he flashes that big maniacal smile, I see his father as a young Jack Nicholson. Samara Weaving can do no wrong in my eyes. She picks really interesting roles and is creating quite the catalog for herself. But another standout role was Alba Baptista as Penny, she was completely bonkers. There were some plot holes here and there but they were easy to get past as I was having so much fun. This won't be for everyone but if you're a little f*cked up like me, you may enjoy it. 9/10
My only complaint was that I had to watch it on Peacock and the friggin' commercials ruin the momentum of the film."
"Ray Nicholson was very good! The pacing and the way this movie was executed were poor! It's all over the place. I appreciate the style and vibe; I just wish it could have been executed more smoothly!"
