The Reef: Stalked

"Once again, I was reeled in by the suggestion of a good dumb shark attack movie. But I was disappointed again. I am not sure why the screenwriter wants to add a tragic event that happened before the shark attack when several shark attacks in a community is enough. This movie really should be called: "We swam the reef while the shark kind of stalked us." It simply didn't work for me."

"4½☆ Like the first film, this takes place among the Great Barrier Reef. With the same kind of tension and unnerving moments, along with footage of a real shark, you can tell that the great master of the subgenre, Andrew Traucki, is once more at the helm. Some of the mistakes of the first film are even corrected (ie. don't splash around unnecessarily and "stop paddling"). Still no biffing the shark on the nose, though. 😁😉 Nothing is perfect. Fans of this genre/subgenre, please watch this."
