"This movie may not deserve a complete four stars, but ainam rating it that because of the unique story. First of all, Kathleen Turner and Rutger Hauer have outstanding chemistry. They play two lonely but independent people who see something in one another's lifestyle that draws them together. Hauer's character, Jim, is a recluse, who spends most of his time on his privately owned forested island to take care of the rare birds that breed there. Powers Boothe plays the role of a smarmy and cocky guy who wants to make a deal with a wealthy collector for a rare bird's eggs 🥚. So, the two men's world's collide. It seems a strange plot, but it really isn't that at all. The plot is really about human nature, and what desperation or grief drives people to do. There is some dark humor sprinkled in, and be warned ⚠️ about a few full frontal nudity and sexual scenes. "
