HeatherWhat a cast. Malin Ackerman and Brittany Snow turn in performances that make it hard to even look away. This show was strange, absorbing, sexy, funny, and a wild ride. Big Little Lies meets Desperate Housewives vibes in this one, with plot twists and turns galore. At the season finale, things keep getting worse for our main characters—but I’m dying to know more about their background stories. And I can’t wait to see the nonplussed detective Salazar take on the next round of mayhem and murder that Maple Brook, Texas throws at her. And, go away, lesbophobes…if you are not completely bowled over by Margo Banks, and watching every little move she makes, then you may want to check your pulse.

HeatherBeautiful, funny, and queer—especially in that there are so many fun queer cultural references. Absolutely beautiful cast, from the four protagonists to the mother and grandmother. 💕

HeatherGripping, compelling, and offers depth to a story in the mystery/procedural genre. So much here to think about, even while the plot pushes forward at a great pace. Made an impact on me.
