"I enjoyed this series. A bit too much blood and gore for me but I did get hooked. "

"Fast-paced crime novel of a NC fishery family about to lose their business and the incredibly terrible decisions they make to save it. Holt McCallany, the father, finally gets a role that puts him front and center. His decision-making, he tells himself, is all about protecting the family. Topher Grace plays a competitor, but he’s really a sociopath with cold eyes. Maria Bello plays the mother, and she is the chief enabler — like a crime family fixer. Well cast for most roles, enjoyable binge"
"This series had me hooked from the start! The constant suspense kept me on edge, always wanting to know what would happen next. Finally, something genuinely thrilling and unpredictable! I still have the last episode to watch, and I’m really hoping there’ll be a season 2 soon."

"From the creator of Dawson's Creek and The Vampire Diaries... and it shows.
The Waterfront feels like Kevin Williamson was trying to make Ozark - and failing. Nearly every character is insufferable, the plot is painfully predictable, and the villain is laughably corny. The drama feels manufactured and cheesy rather than genuinely thrilling.
It’s watchable enough, but don’t expect this watered-down crime drama to be very compelling."
"Ozark in a beach town. An influential family on the brink of losing their fortune turns to drug running and quickly find themselves in over their heads. Each family member comes with their own drama and intense story lines. Binged with my husband and it has something for everyone- action, drama, romance. "
"It was good but I’ve seen better lots of good actors in this show. Lots of cheating and lots of blood. "
