"🎬 Mediocre doc — same old Charlie, now “sorry” & sober. Sean Penn actually explains the WHY. Learned absolutely nothing new, though, and holy crap — EVERYONE looks OLD AF!!! 😆😭😩
🎥 Vintage footage of young Charlie & Emilio goofing = the only genuinely fun, nostalgic part — way more interesting than 90% of the sit-down chatter with Charlie who gave zero insight.
Despite everything, he’ll always be the lovable, hilarious #CharlieHarper❣️🫶🏽"
"I didn’t feel like I learned anything new about Charlie Sheen. As someone who has been alive to watch the events of his life play out in the press, most of this was old news. Knowing that he was in the grips of horrific addictions, nothing else he “admitted” to was shocking.
The documentary ultimately felt like it was purposely leaving specifics out in order to preserve whatever is left of his public image…and/or purposely trying to rehabilitate his image now that he’s sober. There was something that just didn’t feel right/authentic about it.
Whatever the reason behind that, I hope for his sake and the sake of his family that he remains sober and healthy. He is very fortunate to have so many loving people around him. "

"I thought this documentary was very well done! It was fun looking back at his life back when I remember him coming on the scene and being super popular. I also remember all the times he was in the headlines and enjoyed hearing his version of it. What a debacle of a life! I can’t imagine living that lifestyle. It’s shocking he got through it. I’m happy he’s clean, he looked good considering, and seemed to have his crap together finally. His ex-wife Brooke seemed a little off to me though! Def recommend watching!"
"Sean Penn was the best part of this documentary!"
