"This book had a lot of my favorite things: Fierce FMC, lovable MMC (Keir - SWOON), Lillian / Westcliff (MY FAVORITE Wallflowers couple) and it was flippin' funny.

It was predictable in a lot of areas: I knew about Keir, I knew about Merritt and her being "barren" *wink wink* and I knew that they were going to get married at some point. The rest of it was definitely a fun ride: I loved how the Challons and the Marsdens took in Keir pretty quickly and LOVED how Lillian "walked in" on Keir / Merritt (and still kept it a secret) and how even after 30+ years, Lillian / Westcliff & Sebastian / Evie are still so much in love. Wished we would have had all 4 couples back but the two that are my favorites are in this book so that's good.

All in all, it was a good ending to the Ravenels series and the epilogue is AWESOME! Love the two men in the study with the brandy LOL!"
"4/5 ⭐️ I was so conflicted about this one because there were so many aspects that I absolutely adored but there were a few that just rubbed me the wrong way. First of all, I loved each of the main characters, both individually and as a couple. Their personalities complemented each other so well, and they were each such caring yet strong and responsible people. I also liked the side characters in this story, particularly their family members and how supportive they were. The story had some light elements of suspense/mystery/action as well, and I thought they added an interesting element to the story (particularly in the first half). I do wish that we had gotten to see some more relationship development between the two leads, particularly since the amnesia trope played such a big part in their romance. It ended up being a bit too instalovey for my tastes, and I just wanted more of them. There were also frequent inclusions of references to the author’s previous series, Wallflowers. As I had not previously read this series, these aspects took me out of the story at certain times, however I’m sure these would be enjoyable on reread if I read that series as well. The final conflict was a bit lackluster as well though I didn’t dislike it. I had just such high hopes for this story as I fell in love with the first third of it, and the rest of it wasn’t quite what I was expecting, but it was still a very enjoyable read that I’m sure I will come back to again."
