Has anyone else seen that The Peripheral,which was previously picked up for another season, has now been cancelled? It is due to the writers strike. The explanation was that they wouldn’t be able to get it out to the public until 2025 and they thought people would have lost interest at that point. I’m so disappointed. I feel like we loose a lot of interesting or promising sci fi shows too early in their infancy. They are given less of a chance by the general public.

So here's a ridiculous, fun question. Scenario: You are building a vehicle to survive a zombie outbreak. Or perhaps you are a contractor who kills zombies and suppresses outbreaks for a living. Questions: What type of vehicle do you have? How do you modify it? What are things that need to be considered when designing/building it?

What would be the best weapon or implement to be used as a weapon during the zombie apocalypse? Must be something that currently exists. So no lightsabers or other sci-fi or fantasy weapons.

Just for my own curiosity. I find details like this fascinating. Once humans have colonized other planets (say 6 or so) and established sizable populations on them, how will we measure time? It's extremely unlikely that any planet we settle will match Earth in terms of minute, hour, day, month, year cycles. So, collectively, how will we measure time?

Been waiting for this. It was really cool. Sci Fi take on the old noir films. Made in France. Obviously Blade runner inspired but has its own vibe and story. I suggest watching it in French with subs. Two thumbs up.
