Zombies 4 - Dawn of the Vampires

"Pretty good it did add a bit more of an adventure than some of the others, but I feel like it was missing something/ not as good as the previous ones. It does seem that there will be a 5th one based on the ending, wonder what will happen next."

"Honestly, a HUGE improvement from the others in the series. It felt like a return to the roots of what made the movie take kids by storm before. The songs are actually catchy. The one big rival song honestly had me jamming out before it was even over. The quality in everything went up a ton too. It actually felt like a D-Com movie, which Disney hasn't accomplished lately. The attention to detail & genuine quality took me by surprise compared to the last few movies. Not only are the costumes incredible. But the choreography actually encompasses the scene, it doesn't just look big & random. This felt articulate & purposeful seeing them dance. Plus watching those few water moves in Light/Night Side surprised me. I truly enjoyed it. It's not near as cringey either as the older movies. In fact, the cringe-est parts all happen with the original cast. I'm not saying every moment with them is bad, but those parts after being introduced to our new world is rather rough to trudge through. It beats had a great tie up for that cast near the end. I'm not sure I enjoy their new role they've been forced to take, but it's cute and the integration is there even if it was a cheap idea. Still, I appreciate the effort by the writers to include the characters we love while introducing brand new ones. Descendants rise of red could take a lesson from this. I thought the new additions not following their rule of 3 with new monsters each time made things more refreshing. I honestly love the daywalkers 2 main people dynamic. Overall, a welcome surprise to the series with great new actors bringing a fresh take on the world. It helps that the story is actually fun. Returning to their roots in a new & revamped way works. Its good they had the originals of the series bring us into this new world, which Descendants 4 did not use that luxury. It's fun, and the songs hit harder than the rest of the series. Well done, & I'm looking forward to the next monster addition."
