"Rami Malek plays a CIA decoder whose wife is murdered during a terrorist attack in London. When his corrupt superiors aren't willing to go after those responsible, he takes it upon himself to exact revenge. He's not an operative and has no experience in the field, so he uses his brain to get the job done. He gets better at it as he goes along, some of the kills are quite inventive. (SPOILERS AHEAD) I was disappointed that when he finally got to the most elusive one, the one who actually pulled the trigger on his wife, he got the authorities involved instead of killing him. That ruined it for me. Not a ton of action, but the film has good pacing and was shot well. Overall, a decent watch. 7/10"

"CIA cryptographer Charlie Hellers wife is killed. After he grieves a little bit he uses some leverage to talk the CIA into training him so he can go after the killers after it becomes clear they are not after justice for his wife. While he is not a field agent he leans into his considerable intellect to track down the individuals responsible. Malek is perfectly cast in this role as he is convincing as the super smart guy that is not really built for the field. He does get a little training, but he still looks like a guy that got a little bit of training. I actually liked that they allowed him ot focus on what he was good at and didn't make him a super-agent overnight. Any time there was a physical confrontation he looked as inexperienced as he was. This was a refreshing change to how they normally play this out. They do go a little too far with how smart he is. It is believable he could be one step ahead of the CIA but there was still some field stuff to do which I don't believe he would have been able to navigate. However, they are consistent, and he stays true to his character. It ran a little long but im nit picking. It was entertaining and worth a watch. "This is a non-stop action-packed movie from scene one!!! The plot is unique and gripping. I enjoyed this movie! The acting was phenomenal and the cinematography was stunning!!! This movie gives me a similar vibe to "The Accountant" since it focuses on a main lead who is willing to do anything to defend their interests. Overall, if you enjoy crime based action movies then this is definitely worth looking into!"
"I wanted more from this movie! Maybe I wasn't in the mood for this, but it was just okay! Not bad, not good, just okay!"
