Hey guys! I’m sorry for not being active at all. School had me busy. I’m writing a retelling of Peter Pan and Wendy (I hate to admit it but this is because I wanna put it on my resume, colleges are a struggle lol). I wanted to ask what you guys would be interested in reading about within the book, I have it planned but I wanted some suggestions that I could add. Thanks!!!

Hi guys!!! I’m in the process of starting my first draft for a my book. I’m an aspiring teen author! The book is YA, soft sci-fi and a science fantasy. I don’t really read sci-fi, which is quite ironic considering my book is in that genre. What are some things in a book that instantly make it a DNF? Or things that you don’t like seeing in books?

I just came across this book and it sounds so good, but it’s a part of the Pixie Hollow/Tinkerbell lore i think (?) so would i be able to read it without being confused?

Someone please write this book, because I had a crazy dream about it! I had inherited a house with a fairy godmother, whose job it was to look after the house and everyone inside of it. At first she just said she’s a grounds keeper, but as time goes on she continues to grant everyone’s wishes. There’s also something sinister in the house causing it to continue to change. The house would add rooms, take rooms away, change out the layout, just to keep whatever is in there at bay.

If you like thrillers and music this is a good one. Bonus the audiobook is currently on kindle unlimited.

What are everyone’s thoughts on this book? I’m attempting to read it and I’m unsure at this moment about it.

Might land myself in hot water here but I want to see what everyone else thinks - I didn't like this one from VE Schwab...As with all of VE Schwab's books, she knows how to write and her concepts are fantastic but this felt too bloated and drawn out for me. Just finished this book, and wow is it amazing. It keeps you on your toes with plot twists, and amazing characters. This book is definitely a work of art and magic

Anyone who’s read this - what did you end up thinking? In the 60’s, my aunt was 17 and in love for the first time! They accidentally got pregnant, decided to ask their parents advice, and were told to never speak to or see each other ever again. Guys I can’t stop thinking about this one book I read a little while ago. It’s called the wicked deep. I have been in a reading slump for a while and just got out of it and I keep wanting to read this book again. If I could read a book again for the first time it would be this. It’s basically that there were three sisters in a small town that were sisters killed for witchcraft by drowning and they possess 3 girls every year and they each kill a teenage boy for revenge. Can we talk abt these types of covers pls. Cause I was reading sweet heartbreak and why does it have this girl on the cover here. I love the covers on other apps. I personally don’t like people on covers especially if they are more realistic.

I finished Angels Before Man by Rafael Nicolás and absolutely loved the first half, but the ending kind of lost me. How does the second book in the series compare? I'm so conflicted on whether I should continue the series or not. I should also note I read the original version before it got released, so I don't know if any of the issues I had with the ending were edited.

I don't know if I just wasn't connecting to the story or what but I didn't like this one from Mona Awad...Which hurts to say because this was my most anticipated release of 2023 and Bunny and All's Well are all-time favorites of mine. The Mona Awad magic was there, I loved the commentary on beauty and the unsettling, AHS-like atmosphere but that was about it. It just felt kinda boring, disjointed and got repetitive after awhile...Am I alone here? I'm curious to know everyone's thoughts.

I just finished Sweet Heartbreak and I didn’t know that is was like an actual series. I thought it was one of those interconnected series’. I went to get the book in my library and I have to wait 6 weeks. Help 😭😭😭
